Our Investment Policy Statement

Our Strategy; Our responsibility; Our Commitment.

One of the foundation principles of our financial practice is that there is no one, standard approach to enhancing a person’s financial well-being. That's why, be it private asset management, fixed investments, structured variable accounts or a combination of the three, we offer in-depth planning and an individualized, tactical, approach to each client's portfolio.

To do this well requires us to know as much as possible about you. Whether you come to our office, make an inquiry online or meet us at a seminar or webinar, when you talk with me, we’ll look at the whole picture--including your present assets and tax liabilities, and how those assets are structured. But then we’ll delve a little deeper, and explore what you really want out of life. The important things that go beyond money--family, your spouse or partner, and any children you’re planning to educate or help out in life. We’ll talk about your work, your avocations, and what you view as the ideal life moving forward. How it looks and feels, and is it what will make you happy? Don’t be surprised if I ask you to take some short quizzes to help me understand your attitudes about profit, loss, risk and reward, and how you view yourself in the world. Good practice demands that I gather as much relevant information as possible to get a clear picture of the best ways to help you meet your objectives, and get closer to achieving your dreams.

Along with knowing our clients well, both locally and across the country, we have a strong commitment to providing them with the data they need in order to make informed financial decisions. We also want to be available to you when you need us. Four or five times a year, I hold informational seminars and webinars, and client appreciation events. We'll also be having weekly chatroom sessions where I'll be available to take your questions. At seminars and webinars, we try to pass on timely information we feel you need to know. At client appreciation events, our version of a "thank-you" bouquet to all who support us, we usually just have some fun at a play, baseball game or just a party. If you don't live locally, we may show our appreciation with dinner and movie tickets, or other thank-you gifts. I’m also on the radio twice a week, Wednesdays at 2:00 PM and Saturdays at 8:00 AM, locally, in Western Massachusetts, on WHMP AM 1240, AM 1400 and AM 1600 and FM 96.9.  You may also listen via live audio streaming or podcast at whmp.com

You may hear from us frequently by regular mail or e-mail, your choice, with market information, updates and announcements, a monthly newsletter, and even birthday greetings at that special time of the year. Our cutting-edge client access and service system, Wealth Management Solutions, helps you monitor your accounts right along with us, through your own private website which is updated daily with new balances and information.

And, in the event that my staff can’t give you the help you need and you need to speak with me urgently, you can do so right away, without having to make an appointment or answer an e-mail. When you become my client, you get a card with my cell phone number on it—not a special number, but the actual cell phone that I carry with me for my personal use. If I don’t answer right away, just leave a message and I’ll return your call as quickly as possible.

I also feel it is important to make one other point. We know that everyone is different. Some clients automatically know what fits them, and make decisions quickly. Others take their time collecting facts, and may need to study them for a while. Still others may take even longer to digest information, and want to sit with it until they feel comfortable and action becomes a possibility. Whichever method suits you, be assured that your timetable will be respected. It is always our preference that you understand the decisions you make, and are as comfortable as possible with your chosen financial path.

These are some of the principles we live by here at the Wealth Technology Group, but here is the most important of all.

We welcome you.

We welcome people of any race, ethnicity, size, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ability level, religion, culture, and political opinion. We think accessibility for people with disabilities should be a priority, not an afterthought. We believe in being inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of anyone who comes to us in good faith with the desire for our services. So if you feel that we can help you in any way, please take a moment to fill out our Introduction Form, or give us a call to set up a short telephone appointment with me, at no charge or obligation to you. We look forward to hearing from you..
