Investment Policy Statement:
Our Strategy; Our responsibility;
Our Commitment.
One of the foundations upon which our financial practice is based is that there is no one, standard approach to enhancing a person’s financial well-being. That is why, whether it is based on private asset management, fixed investments, structured variable accounts or a combination, we offer in-depth planning and individualized, tactical programs for each one of our clients.
This means that we need to know a lot about you. Whether you come to our office, make an inquiry online or meet us at a seminar or webinar, when you begin talking with me, we’ll discuss your present assets, your tax liabilities, how your assets are structured---all the things you’d expect. But then we’ll go on to get to know each other better, in a more free-ranging discussion about your family, your heart’s desires for you, or you and your spouse or partner, and any children you’re planning to educate or help out in life. We’ll talk about your work, and your avocations, and your ideal life in the future—how it looks and feels to you, and what will make you happy. Don’t be surprised if I have you take some short quizzes which will help me understand your attitudes about profit, loss and risk, as well as how you view yourself in the world. Good practice demands that I gather as much relevant information as I can to get a clear picture of the best ways to help you meet your objectives, and get closer to your dreams.
Along with our high standard for knowing our clients well, whether they are local or across the country, we have a strong commitment to imparting the information you need in order to make informed financial decisions, and to being available to you when you need us. Four or five times a year we have informational seminars and webinars, and client appreciation events and gifts open to our clients only. We have daily chatroom sessions where I am available to take your questions. At seminars and webinars we pass on timely information we feel you need to know. At client appreciation events, our thank-you bouquets to all of you who support us, we usually just have fun, at a play or a baseball game or a party. If you aren't local to us, we may show our appreciation with dinner and movie tickets, or other thank-you gifts. I’m on the radio once a week with a call-in program, and I invite all my clients to listen and call in.
You hear from us by mail or e-mail, whichever you choose, frequently, with market information, birthday greetings, announcements and newsletters. On our cutting-edge client access and service system, Wealth Management Solutions, we monitor your accounts right along with you, on your own private website which is updated daily with balances and information.
And, when you feel that my professional staff can’t give you the help you need, and you really need to speak with me urgently, you can. Right away, without having to make a telephone appointment, wait for an answer to an e-mail or an appointment to come into the office. When you become my client you get a card with my cell phone number on it—not a special number, but the actual cell phone that I carry with me for my personal use. If I don’t answer it right away, when you leave a message, I’ll return your call very quickly.
At this point I feel it’s important to say that here, we honor the fact that everyone is different. Some of us automatically know what fits us, and make decisions very quickly. Others get busy collecting facts, and may need to study them for a while. Still others may take longer to digest information, and want to walk around with an idea for quite a long time before they feel comfortable with it, and action becomes a possibility.
Whichever style of decision making is yours, we want you to know that we respect your timetable and are always available to you to discuss ideas you encountered while speaking with us. We prefer that you understand the decisions you make with us, and are as comfortable as you can be with the path you choose.
There are many other principles that we live by here at the Wealth Technology Group, but here is another of the most important:
We welcome you.
We welcome people of any race, ethnicity, size, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ability level, religion, culture, subculture, and political opinion. We think accessibility for people with disabilities is a priority, not an afterthought. We believe in being inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of anyone who comes to us with good faith and the desire for our services. So if you have something on your mind, or feel that we can help you in any way, please take a moment to fill out our Introduction Form, or give us a call to set up a short telephone appointment with me, at no charge or obligation to you. Your call will be welcome.
